Alex Lemski passed away at 2:50 am on December 5th. He was the founder of the Creative Music Series, and its artistic director throughout its eleven years in the Boston area. Alex believed in the real creative, transformative power of music, and its ability to bring people together and lift them up. Boston area lovers of the music know that he presented music that no one else did. The musicians who played in his series know that he always treated them fairly and paid them a living wage.
